Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a VMware Administrator. CSA is a dynamic and innovative organization at the forefront of technology solutions. We're committed to delivering exceptional IT services to our Navy clients and are currently seeking a skilled VMware Administrator to join our team. If you're passionate about virtualization technologies and have a proven track record in administration, we want to hear from you. How Your Role Will Make an Impact: Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View environments.
Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with IT teams to deploy virtual desktops, manage pools, and provide end-user support.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and stability.
Develop and implement VMWare best practices and security protocols.
Create and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, policies, and procedures.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing VDI-related inquiries and issues promptly.
Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to and virtualization. What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team: Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Security Plus (or equivalent) certification.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in VMware VDI administration.
Proficiency in VMware Horizon View and related VDI technologies.
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices.
Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
Knowledge of storage solutions, SAN/NAS technologies, and networking.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
