For more information about DAWSON, please visit Medical/Dental Care Coordinator/ Part-time $19.35 hr Summary: Dawson is currently seeking applicants to fill our Administrative Medical Care Coordinator position located in Starke, FL at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC) in support of the Medical and Dental Case Management Services for the Florida Army National Guard. Key Responsibilities: ' Maintain a management reporting system to include a log of all correspondence with Service Members, patient encounters, and contact with civilian behavioral health, medical, and/or dental referrals, source of referrals, and follow-up activities in the Army National Guard IT system of record. ' Be available to travel to pre-approved locations including medical readiness events, soldier readiness processing events, state training events, and/or drill assemblies to assist in medical readiness classification conversions. ' Assist Nurse Case Managers with administrative functions. ' Update electronic Soldier Treatment Records will all relevant medical/dental documentation/information received from treatment facilities and/or Soldiers. ' Communicate with unit designees for case related documentation sent through units or treatment facilities on behalf of Service Members for all assigned cases to ensure documents are accessible in electronic databases of record. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess the following: ' A valid US driver's license. ' Associates Degree in Human Services or related field. ' Five (5) years' experience working with people experiencing medical/dental problems. ' Knowledge of common assessment tools used by medical/dental professional's to complete evaluations. ' Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele face to face, via email, and on the telephone. ' Basic skills and knowledge of operating office equipment such as computer, scanner, printer, fax. ' Shall have the ability to work independently without supervision and also as part of a team. ' Personal Computer (PC) proficiency, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint. ' Must submit no less than two professional references with resume. No personal references shall be accepted. Preferred Qualifications: ' Technical skills preferred include MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE), Standard Installation/Division Personnel System (SIDPERS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS). ' Preferred skill to have is working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment.
