For more information about DAWSON and our benefits programs, please visit Duties: Perform non-clinical case management, which includes providing personnel that are experienced in all aspects and qualified in their respective functional areas. Contract personnel shall not perform inherently governmental functions (i.e., representation of government, decision authority, etc.) Responsible for tracking medical status of ALL assigned cases, or Soldiers as required. Salary $31.16 Hr Responsible for medical charting in eCase. Contractor will ensure all administrative charting in eCase is completed to include any contact with SM (via email, voice call, or personal interview), coordination with Soldier for treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities. Contractor will ensure all administrative charting in eCase is completed within 24 hrs of contact. Request profile exams/evaluations and audiology exams at physical exam station. Coordinate Soldier treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities. Submit case processing, medical documentation, and profile concerns to military/contacted provider and track medical appointments by communication with unit, and/or Solider to ensure Soldier attendance and submission of follow up documentation. Maintain automated referrals indicated in MEDCHART. Submit case processing, medical documentation, and profile concerns to military/contacted provider. Attend PHA events as determined by the needs of the state and the individual units. Ensure those Soldiers referred by a provider are followed by the case management team. Manage Soldier's case from the identification of the condition to when the Soldier is either: - Considered medically ready. - Administratively separated from the military. Follow the regulations and policies applicable to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment, to include the AR and other applicable guidance. Ensure all medical documentation received for any Soldier and/or their medical team is received and placed in appropriate electronic record, to include all lab work, and referrals. Maintain soldier medical records in accordance with Army Regulation (AR) 40- 66. Maintain Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) standards and guidelines. Follow the regulations and policies applicable to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment, to include the AR 40-501/502 and other applicable guidance. 100% of the time. Obtain release of information from Soldier. Educate Soldiers on resources available to improve medical and dental readiness. Maintain Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) standards and guidelines. Review, upload and track health assessment (PHA, SRP, Specialty Physicals), lab results, and contact SM and educate on lifestyle modifications. Upload medical documents of case managed Soldiers into Health Readiness Record (HRR). Stamp all medical documents for verification after uploading. Index uploaded medical documents MODS entry of immunizations, designation of pregnancy, eye exams, medical warning tags. Provide all medical documents received for case management to Records Custodian to be filed using a document evidencing transfer of custody from the contractor to the government. Copy of each supporting transfer document (DA form 200) shall be provided to the COR at the end of each month no later than 7 calendar days at the end of the month. Contractor will ensure all administrative charting in eCase is completed. Track medical appointments by communication with unit, and/or Solider to ensure Soldier attendance and submission of follow up documentation. Responsible for medical charting in eCase, to include any contact with SM (via email, voice call, or personal interview), coordination with Soldier for treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities. Contractor will ensure all administrative charting in eCase is completed within 24 hrs of contact. Communicate with delegated government personnel to track compliance versus noncompliance. Ensure Soldiers with profiles are case managed in the eCase module. Qualifications: Active, unrestricted registered nurse license from any U.S. jurisdiction Able to meet all licensure requirements in AR 40-68, Chapter 4-8 Active (unexpired) BLS certification by the American Heart Association A minimum of two (2) years' experience with knowledge of military culture. Knowledge of common assessment tools used by medical/dental professional's to complete evaluations. Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele face to face, via email, and on the telephone. Basic skills and knowledge of operating office equipment such as computer, scanner, printer, fax. Shall have the ability to work independently without supervision and also as part of a team. Preferred skill to have is working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
