Job title: WEB APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER, ADVANCED

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: 6-12 months

Minimum Qualifications of Candidate

The Department is seeking a Web Applications Programmer professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):

1. Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree, or a related field.

2. Minimum 7 years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications.

3. Experience with C#.Net, MVC, ASP.NET 4.XX, OOPS, Webservices, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JavaScript, VBA frameworks.

4. Familiarity with MS Access and application development on MS Access platforms

5. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Creating and Writing Stored Procedures. 4

6. Experience with batch processing and data loading.

7. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 and above.

8. Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.

9. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.

10. Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.

11. Experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.

12. Producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, testing.

13. Experience working with development teams on large enterprise projects.

14. Experience with assessing risks related to MS Access and web-based applications.

15. Familiarity with interpreting, understanding and applying Florida Rules and Laws.

Deliverables/Tasks

The Web Applications Programmer key deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects.

Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.

Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.

Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.

Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs and reports.

Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.

Manages change control within the projects.

Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path.

Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
