Role Overview:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support the successful execution of Commercial Construction projects. With a customer-centric approach, you'll aid in driving the project team forward, fostering open communication, setting clear directives, and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.

- Interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications.

- Assist in mentoring junior Project Management staff for effective project oversight.

- Cultivate enduring relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to identify future project opportunities.

- Aid in the procurement processes for Subcontractors and Vendors, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

- Address drawing interpretation challenges and conflicts.

- Manage project documentation, including Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, and more.

- Assist in facilitating accurate and timely Owner Billings and cost projections.

- Provide support in overseeing Project Schedules and progress updates.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/light industrial project management.

- Preffered not required, projects on ground up Hospitals

- Profound understanding of building systems and construction methods.

- Strong financial acumen and the ability to support the project lifecycle.
