The Buildings BIM Manager is responsible for implementing Buildings technology strategy and promoting the benefits of digital ways of working. As the division BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects, leveraging BIM technology to improve efficiency, collaboration, and overall project quality.

Responsibilities:
BIM Standards Management:Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Project Coordination:Oversee the integration of BIM processes across all projects.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate model deliveries.

Quality Control:Review and validate BIM models for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality standards.

Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and specialists.

Provide training and support to staff on BIM tools and processes.

Collaboration and Communication:Facilitate BIM coordination meetings to discuss project updates and resolve issues.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.

Technology Integration:Ensure seamless integration of BIM technology with other design and construction software.

Stay updated with the latest BIM tools and technologies to drive innovation.

Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain BIM documentation, including project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

Generate reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:Address and resolve any BIM-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce project risks.

Client Interaction:Engage with clients to understand their BIM requirements and expectations.

Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding BIM processes.

Continuous Improvement:Promote best practices and continuous improvement in BIM methodologies.

Evaluate and implement new BIM strategies to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

5 + years of experience in a BIM coordination or management role within the construction or architecture industry

Proven track record of managing BIM processes on large-scale projects.

Proficiency in industry-specific BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks

Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

Innovative mindset to improve BIM processes and project outcomes.
