Job description

GuideWell Emergency Doctor Clinics are free-standing outpatient facilities, providing easy access unscheduled care. Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians provide care to meet or exceed American College of Emergency Physicians Standards (Evidence-Based Clinical Guidelines) outside of the traditional hospital-based ER environment. The hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facility efficiently provides high quality care that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions and create savings

Responsibilities
Perform imaging in a reasonable time (outlined in Rad PnP manual)
Participation in QA activities to include maintenance of patient logs and RIS forms
Retake less than 9% of all images taken during the month
Utilize PACS to complete studies and transmit to telerad service
Sterilize of reusable equipment through the use of an autoclave
Perform accurate triages and discharges of patients as directed by medical team
Input patient discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software as directed by medical team
During busy times in the office assist with minor procedures, wound care and patient care as directed by medical team
Assist with the turning over of rooms per protocol
Know and practice organizational values
Strict adherence to organizational protocols
Support the Facility Leader (FL) and complete tasks as assigned

Requirements
Active State of Florida License required
Active ARRT Certification (both R and CT) required
Active BLS certification required
Previous CT/X-Ray Technologist experience strongly preferred
Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screen and drug test
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Perform the duties expected for an active role in a busy medical environment (standing, walking, lifting, etc.)
Able to stand and work up to a 12-hour shift in the facility
