Description FullStack Software Engineer Description: Plateau GRP is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who will use technology to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data from various sources and platforms to collect, analyze, and compile data to meet customer needs. Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Front End Developers/Full Stack Software Engineers are responsible for creating next-generation web-based and desktop applications designed to enhance user interface with tools and capabilities created by the data scientists. Front End Developers will perform the following duties: Data Scientists formulate and lead guided, multifaceted analytic studies against large volumes of data. Data Scientists will perform the following: Design, prototype, develop, and implement applications using Web programming technologies including but not limited to: JavaScript, HTML, HTMLS, and CSS.
Work with Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create, troubleshoot, and recommend appropriate user interface capabilities.
Work with members and customers to enhance user experience and implementation requirements.
Requirements Required Skills & Experience:
Advanced skills in full stack software development, including web development (JVM, Go, Python). Experience with Ruby (JRuby) is preferable but not required.
Experience with software build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle), version control (e.g., Git or Mercurial SCM), and CI/CD pipeline technologies (AWS CI/CD experience preferable but not required).
Experience with RDBMS & SQL technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or other enterprise level RDBMS are acceptable)
Experience with cloud services, infrastructure, virtualization, containerization, and deployment/orchestration in AWS.
Experience developing and deploying Docker images and containers
Competency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Familiar with software project management tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira & Confluence), Redmine, Kanboard, or similar tools.Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, system engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent demonstrated ability may be considered.
CompTIA Sec+ CertificationSecurity Clearance:
