Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated HRIS Business Analyst that will be instrumental in handling the intake of HRIS project work, including governance, discovery, and prioritization. The role focuses on understanding the current state of key business processes and owning changes that enhance the use of system capabilities, drive process standardization, and promote industry best practices. It requires a high-level understanding of systems, industry, and end-user requirements. The HRIS Business Analyst will partner with HRIS project leaders on initiatives of varying sizes and complexities to drive the gathering of business requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business partners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Additionally, this individual will manage IT change management controls for UKG and other HR applications and lead the implementation of new processes and the drafting of policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance for those systems. The role also involves auditing HRIS projects upon completion to measure project health and compliance with HRIS methodology and change management practices. This position reports to the Director of HRIS and Payroll within Human Resources.

Salary range: $75k - $90k (depending on education and relevant experience)

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in ownership of the process to collect, manage, and execute business requirements from design to post-implementation, including training and support.

Own the development, documentation, and communication of business system rules, definitions, structures, and processes; responsible for the creation and upkeep of process-based testing scripts.

Conduct UAT of system enhancements and new applications, including initial root cause analysis of failure.

Validate data interchanges between UKG and third-party systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Conduct root cause analysis of system defects through the engagement of technical and business teams to identify, sequence, and implement solutions that prevent a recurrence.

Serve as a subject matter expert for the systems governance process, support on appropriate practices for documentation of the business process, business requirements, and test plans.

Participate in cross-functional project teams, collaborating with application owners and business teams for projects local or global.

Partner with team members to develop project schedules, reports, and documentation. May be required to act as project manager for small/quickwin projects.

Audit projects upon completion of deliverables to measure project health and compliance with HRIS methodology and change management practices.

Partner with the HRIS Director to finalize and maintain the HRIS methodology and adapt processes as needed.

Provide necessary evidence and play a key role in defining and writing policies that ensure SOX compliance for various auditing agencies.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in HRIS or similar role.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to propose and evaluate solutions to satisfy business needs.

Strong understanding of HRIS systems (UKG HCM preferred) and its change management practices.

Experience with project management methodologies.

Working knowledge of human resources concepts and practices.

Proactive and confident self-starter with strong organizational skills and a goal-driven approach.

Knowledge of SOX compliance and IT controls.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Excel, Teams).

Competencies:

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Commitment to following standardized HRIS project management methodologies and change management practices to ensure efficient and successful project execution.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.

Comfortable operating in a dynamic, complex, and changing environment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, information technology, business administration, or related field.

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in human resources business analysis.

Exposure to the business functions of a manufacturing enterprise from an operations, finance, supply chain, or business analysis perspective.

Expertise in UKG HCM modules preferred.

Experience in using Smartsheet is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced work environment, requiring ability to remain focused under pressure.

Attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time.

High pressure from deadlines, project management, accuracy, or similar demands.

Continuously sitting for prolonged periods in a temperature-controlled building when on site.

Travel Requirements:

10%-15% annual travel for team workshops or project-related initiatives.

Due to this role's impact on Refresco North American operations, travel on short notice to provide business critical support may be required.

This is a home-based position that requires travel to Tampa, Florida for on-site onboarding the first 60 days of employment and will be home-based thereafter.

Homebased employees are expected to work from their registered home address (temporary exceptions can be accommodated in coordination with manager). During online meetings, cameras are to be turned on. Work hours are EST regardless of employee's home time zone. During the first 60 days of employment, employees are expected to travel and work in the Tampa Corporate office every other week for 4 full days in a week (M-Th or Tu-Fr).
