Role: Lead QA Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL ( Hybrid)

Duration: 12 + Month Rolling Contract

Must have :

Lead onshore and offshore teams

Experience with manual and automation testing

In depth experience in writing detailed and accurate test cases, test scripts, and test results

Knowledge in automation tools such as Selenium with C#; API testing using Postman\Fiddler is desired

Knowledge on Azure PAAS is desired

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead who can define and drive the QA strategy for our Enterprise IT projects

This role requires a leader who can establish robust QA processes, lead QA automation efforts, and ensure the highest quality of software solutions through automated Quality Engineering (QE) practices

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, extensive hands-on experience with major QA tools in the market, and the ability to mentor and lead teams towards achieving excellence in quality assurance

QA Strategy and Process Development: Extensive experience in defining and implementing QA strategies and processes for enterprise IT projects

Hands-on experience with leading automation tools such as AccelQ, BrowserStack, Insomnia Selenium, or similar

Knowledge in automation tools such as Selenium with C#; API testing using Postman\Fiddler is desired

Test Management Tools:

Expertise in using test management tools like JIRA, AccelQ , TestRail, ALM, or similar latest tools

Experience in integrating test management tools with CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and their integration with QA processes

Performance and Load Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar

API Testing: Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, or similar

Enterprise IT Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including cloud platforms (Azure), ERP systems (Salesforce), and large-scale distributed systems

CI/CD and DevOps Integration:

Enterprise QA Strategy Development:

Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the organization's goals

Develop and enforce QA policies, procedures, and best practices for enterprise IT projects

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle

QA Automation:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks

Drive the adoption of automation tools and best practices across the QA team

Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of automated tests for complex enterprise systems

Quality Engineering:

Oversee the execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough testing across all project stages

Identify, track, and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions

Lead the continuous improvement of QA processes, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability

Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning

Manage the performance and development of QA team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders

Provide technical leadership and guidance on QA best practices to clients and internal teams

Knowledge on Azure PAAS is desired
