Job description

Seeking ARRT RT MR R with exceptional patient care skills with a commitment to imaging excellence.

Full-time MRI Technologist position

You will be responsible for:
Effective communication with Radiologists, Supervisors and Co-workers
Performing imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or gender
Proficient on the use and operation of the specific imaging equipment
follows department's policies and procedures
Courteous with all staff, patients, and families
Works in conjunction with all departmental staff to facilitate exceptional patient care and overall patient experience
Maintain satisfactory participation and attendance at required meetings and staff development program(s)
Efficient utilization of department supplies and resources
Recognize and reports malfunctions in equipment in a timely manner.
Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures safely on all age groups and in accordance with ACR standards of care. Selecting proper technical factors and proper patient positioning
Familiar and comply with appropriate JCAHO and ACR standards and guidelines
Follows patient identification/verification process prior to performing all patient exams/procedures
Monitors and accesses patients during procedure in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
Demonstrates evidence of continuous professional development
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as RIS, and PACS applications
Prior experience/knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Ability to learn and follow departmental policies and procedures
Maintain responsibility for all personal continuing and annual education requirements
Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures as required by the ACR, ARRT and the State of Florida
Ability to follow Advanced MRI Safety concepts of to ensure patient and all staff members safety
Florida State License Required
Graduate of a Committee of allied Health Education and AMA accredited school of Radiology Technology, 1 to 2 years experience within their respective fields
ARRT Certification Required
Associates Degree Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
