Company Overview: Our client, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a Sales Specialist to focus on hazardous waste management solutions. The role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Summary: The Sales Specialist is responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and offering tailored hazardous waste disposal solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a solid understanding of hazardous waste regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:


    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in hazardous waste management.
    • Develop a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
    • Conduct site assessments to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management:


    • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, providing support and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Serve as an expert on hazardous waste regulations and disposal methods.
    • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Solution Selling:


    • Develop and present customized hazardous waste management solutions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of services.
  • Regulatory Compliance:


    • Stay current with hazardous waste regulations, including RCRA and DOT requirements.
    • Assist clients in navigating regulatory requirements for hazardous waste disposal.
  • Reporting & Analysis:


    • Maintain accurate sales records and client interactions in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts and market analysis reports to management.


Qualifications:


  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of sales experience in hazardous waste management or environmental services.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations.
    • Strong sales and client relationship management skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
