Job description

Your Impact: This position will support the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through the management of intelligence exercises. Your engagement will have a significant impact on the relationship with partnering nations as you interact with senior officials from foreign countries. Responsibilities: The employee shall assist with planning, organizing, and executing intelligence exercises and international high level intelligence engagement events in the U.S. and foreign nations for USCENTCOM J2. The employee will provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on this task. The employee shall document intelligence exercise training objectives for Initial Planning Conference (IPC) events; codify intelligence exercise structure (in terms of "who, what, where, and when") for Mid Planning Conference (MPC) events; codify intelligence exercise structure (in terms of "how") for Final Planning Conference (FPC) events; integrate intelligence exercise structure (in terms of the overall exercise structure) for Concept Development Conference (CDC) events; and write intelligence exercise injects for Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Conference events. The employee shall draft intelligence Joint Lessons Learned (JLL) for exercise After Action Reviews (AARs) and the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS). Requirements: • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph • 4 or more years of experience in the USCENTCOM AOR planning and executing exercises at the Service Component or Combatant Command level. • Knowledge of staff action processes and organizational structure of the combatant commands and the Intelligence Enterprise. • Able to create and present verbal briefings, write formal documents, memoranda and emails, prepare professional quality information papers, and script relevant themes pertaining to the Central Region. • Proficient in Visio and must have a basic understanding of how models and simulations (M&S) applications are utilized in exercises. • Understanding of DISSAM procedures • Minimum Associate degree required; Bachelor's or post-graduate degree desired. Preferred: • Hard working professional with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a timely and efficient manner. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an enthusiasm for in working in a highly-collaborative setting - sharing best practices, lessons learned, and assisting where gaps exist.
