The position will be hybrid with a requirement of three days on-site in our new contemporary Tampa location just minutes from the Airport. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of DoD/Aerospace Contract Management with an in-depth knowledge of its interdependence with project management and the IPT team. Manages large, complex DoD and/or International foreign military sales (FMS) contracts of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Utilizes strong working knowledge of appropriate regulations including specifically required knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Manages the contractual review of complex DoD/International solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract management of multiple on-going DoD/Aerospace solicitations and programs. Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results. Communicates within and outside of the organization, which include customers. Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. Will conduct briefings with leaders. Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems. Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across the function and/or business area. Implements strategic goals established by leadership. Provides input into new products, processes, standards and/or operational plans that will have measurable impact on the achievement of overall function or business results. Interface with key internal stakeholders and leadership to support contract negotiations in alignment with CAEs business objectives. Qualifications and Education Requirements Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and minimum 10 years of prior related experience. Clearance upon hiring, or achieve a clearance; ability to obtain a Secret clearance Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Preferred Skills 10+ years of DoD or Aerospace/Defense Contracts Experience Experience in problem solving on your own through creative solutions by drawing from prior experience is preferred. Must be detailed oriented. Must possess excellent communications skills. Effectively communicate via formal letters complicated and sensitive subjects, possess proper email skills, and possess excellent verbal communication skills. Must have experience and be able to manage complex projects or processes. Must have experience leading a team/project in gathering comprehensive data from multiple disciplines and lead a team to address complex issues and concerns. Problems typically require consideration from multiple areas or specialties. Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible, able to obtain and maintain a DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
