Job description

The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow-up necessary to deliver a project on time and budget. They are responsible for all scheduling and financial's of the project.

Client Details

Growing General Contractor with a great reputation in South Florida. They focus on Commercial and Luxury Residential projects typically ranging from $1M to $10M

Description

  • Prepare and manage project schedule and identify risks
  • Assist with preconstruction and estimating throughout project
  • Implement and maintain budget and schedule controls.
  • The Project Manager will report significant issues in a timely manner to the Project Executive and will prepare Monthly Progress Reports in accordance with contract documents.
  • Participate in reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the planning, site investigation, design, construction, and contract administration.
  • Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
  • Responsible for all pay applications and, change orders, etc.
  • Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record issues.

Profile

  • Successful track record as a Project Manager with Commercial construction ground up and renovation
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience taking projects from start to finish
  • Experience delivering Ground Up Commercial Projects (REQUIRED)
  • Florida project experience (REQUIRED)
  • Strong experience with project financials including pay applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similar
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to read, interpret and develop statistical reports
  • Must be able to read and interpret building and site plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to prepare project schedules.
  • Strong experience with project financial's / accounting for construction projects
