Job description

JOB TITLE: Bilingual Medical/Assistant Receptionist-English & Spanish speaking and writing for our Wesley Chapel/Brandon locations

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Bilingual Medical Receptionist / Phone Operator performs general business office functions that may include some or all of the following:

  • Greeting patients at check in
  • Processing all intake forms
  • Scanning documents
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Stocking rooms
  • Accompanying patients to exam rooms
  • Stocking patient Lobby
  • Inventory
  • Ensures all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained from patients and entered into the billing system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Registers patients in the system.
  • Collects and revises all patient insurance information.
  • Any other duties assigned to you from the Clinical Coordinator

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Microsoft suite knowledge a plus
  • Front experience in a medical environment including experience with EMR software.
  • Bilingual-English and Spanish speaking and writing.
  • Travel between sites
