Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a IT Production Support to join their team. As a IT Production Support, you will be part of the Production Support team supporting the company's critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: IT Production Support

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Pay Range: $23.30 - $31.30 per hour

What's the Job?

Monitor and respond to events on consoles

Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe and production control incidents

Respond to incoming calls from Information Services (I.S.) Help Desk representatives and support teams to assist with resolving incidents and events

Implement standard procedures and manage incidents in the production environment

Maintain knowledge of critical applications and error recovery procedures

What's Needed?

Bachelor's in Computer Science or the equivalent preferred

Zone of Separation Environment (Z/OS) Beginner Data Communications, DB2 Data Sharing, Tivoli Intermediate Level Proficiency with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Time Sharing Option (TSO), Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS)/ Job Control Language (JCL), Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS)/Virtual Telecommunications Access Method (VTAM) Intermediate WebSphere Intermediate Technical Knowledge of Hardware & Software Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Well organized and task-oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills
