Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Location: Warsaw, Indiana

Position Overview:

The SAP EWM Functional Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions that meet our clients' business needs. This role requires deep knowledge of warehouse management processes and hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful SAP EWM projects and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis: Work closely with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for SAP EWM solutions.

Solution Design: Design and configure SAP EWM modules to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations within warehouse management operations, leveraging SAP EWM functionalities.

Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, and PP) and external systems.

Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans, ensuring that SAP EWM configurations meet business requirements and perform as expected.

User Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of SAP EWM solutions. Develop training materials and documentation as needed.

Project Management: Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that SAP EWM solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM functionalities and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

Experience: 10+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support, with a strong focus on functional configuration and process design.

Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM modules, including warehouse processes, inbound and outbound processes, internal warehouse movements, and inventory management.

Cross-Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of how SAP EWM integrates with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Project Management: Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Certifications: SAP EWM certification is preferred but not required.

Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or logistics is a plus.

Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to client sites for project implementation and support.
