Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Primary Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will guide and inspire young learners ages 3 to 6 years old through the Montessori curriculum, fostering their natural curiosity, independence, and love for learning.

Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Leadership: Lead a mixed-age Montessori classroom, creating a prepared environment that promotes independence, exploration, and joy for learning.
  1. Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement Montessori-based curriculum and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs and interests of each child.
  1. Individualized Instruction: Provide individualized instruction and guidance to support each child's unique learning journey, fostering their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
  1. Observation and Assessment: Conduct ongoing observation and assessment of students' progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating with parents regarding their child's development.
  1. Parent Communication: Foster strong partnerships with parents through regular communication, parent education workshops, and parent-teacher conferences to support children's learning and development at home and school.
  1. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to deepen understanding of Montessori philosophy, teaching methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or other recognized Montessori credential) for the Primary level 3-6 years).
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a Lead Teacher in a Montessori primary classroom. (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and the Montessori philosophy and methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students to create a supportive learning community.
