Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Administrative Manager, provides executive support for the Dean for the School of Medicine.

Manages daily office operations, maintains calendar, responds to incoming requests, researches and resolves operational concerns and ensures appropriate preparation for meetings.

Interacts with university leadership and serves as a liaison to key stakeholders and business partners.

Plans and organizes special events, conferences and retreats.

Researches and identifies venues and manages all planning to include decisions related to event set-up, budget management, catering, technology, communication to attendees and preparation of materials.

Composes, writes and edits communication materials.

Researches and compiles information for presentations.

Prepares and monitors budgets.

May supervise staff.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or a related field and five years of executive administrative support, program development, project management or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
