Our customers include the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and NASA. We are seeking an Aerospace Engineering Intern for Summer 2025! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship based out of Atlanta, GA. WHAT YOU'LL DO Aerodynamic design of unmanned air vehicles / missiles at conceptual, preliminary and detail design maturities Aerodynamic analysis of unmanned air vehicles, using both low and high order methods, including analysis tool development and improvement, as needed Stability and control analysis Aircraft performance modeling and simulation Aerodynamic loads generation Wind tunnel test planning, execution and analysis Flight test planning, execution and analysis REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related field Must be a rising senior at the time of their internship and returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least one quarter/semester. Experience with aircraft performance analysis and predictions Test experience including data acquisition, data analysis and project coordination Strong programming skills and code development experience Experience preparing formal documentation (i.e. specifications, test procedures, technical reports, etc) U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with aircraft sizing and configuration trade studies, including aerodynamic design, shaping, and multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) Competent in a variety of aerodynamic analysis techniques including hand calculations, vortex lattice methods, panel methods, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) Have a bias for action. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
