Description:

Master s Degree in Information Technology or related specialized field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Specialized certification may be required. Typically possesses fifteen or more years experience in the field performing complex and conceptual analysis, consulting, project management and providing recommendations. Ability to act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational projects. Ability to develop and recommend long range goals and objectives. Ability to design, research and develop highly advanced new technological applications resulting in new projects which require major decision-making recommendations. PhD Degree preferred. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Specific Job Description: Candidate must be capable of evaluating hardware/software deliveries for installation into operational baseline.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

Agile team members focused on Data security tasks. Tasks include monitoring and analyzing data to prevent unauthorized access, use, or transmission of sensitive information. They will assist in configuring and managing tools and policies, reviewing alerts for potential data breaches, and investigate incidents to determine their cause and impact. Additionally, they collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and improve data protection strategies.

Required Skills/Attributes

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and discover root cause.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing alerts, investigating issues and documenting.

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles, basic system administration, basic scripting

Problem-Solving: Capable of developing solutions to assist the team in preventing data loss and improving user outcomes.

Communication: Effective in educating employees and collaborating with IT teams.
