Role Overview
Wheels Up Partners is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wheels Up. Its services include Private Membership, Aircraft Management, Maintenance, FBO services, Charter Operations, and Aircraft sales. Wheels Up is looking for a Director, Enterprise & Support to plan, direct and manage all activities associated with the Enterprise Information Technology desktop support, Productivity and Collaboration tools, network and technology operations. Manage Office 365, Identity & Role Management, infrastructure as well as oversee information technology Process & Policies for entire enterprise. Participate in strategic and tactical work while leading multiple IT function including but limited to vendor management, cloud administration, technology project support and team building & development.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining technology operations to include systems administration, network management, telecommunications management, system and data security, system and data backup and emergency recovery plans
Recognizes the need for and formulates policies necessary to implement district information technology management goals and objectives
Works within the established system for periodic review of policies to determine when modifications are necessary to advance the goals of the department and to serve the overall needs of employees and managers and the organization
Manage third party vendor contracts, including telecom, hardware, software, hosting, and cloud-based services
Oversee overall Systems infrastructure comprised of:Servers, both physical and virtual
Networking infrastructure including gateways, routers, switches, and firewalls
Storage and backup infrastructure
Desktops, laptops, smart phones, and tablets
Information Security and Data Privacy
Regularly review standards and policies pertaining to Information security and data privacy
Manage and maintain compliance with policies including enforcement & reporting
Oversee IT automation activities
Coordinate developer activities
Coordinate developer projects
Manage and/or participate in IT-related projects using appropriate project management-related expertise
Manage expectations
Manage to timelines
Manage deliverables and milestones
Work with business partners to understand business needs and how IT can help solve issues, provide solutions to possible opportunities, and provide continued efficient and streamlined services to business
Define and manage department budget
Mentor, train, and provide feedback to IT staff members
Work with business to prioritize IT related projects, change requests, and trouble tickets to ensure most urgent business needs are tackled first
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by leadership
Linux server OS and applications expertise a benefit
Manage Cisco VOIP Phone System
Must provide 24x7 support for business units that operate every day of the year
Establishes a system of data collection and analysis that provides for continuous improvement of program effectiveness and/or changing needs
Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information; facilitates IT security audits or investigations
Qualifications:
Understand Project Management fundamentals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical and management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (graduate degree a plus)
Minimum eight years' experience working in IT operations
Minimum three years' experience overseeing IT teams and projects
Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems

Salary Range
The wage range for this position is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
