Job description

LHH is currently recruiting for a Litigation Legal Assistant for a law firm client in Atlanta, GA. The legal assistant will assist assigned attorneys with litigation matters and administrative support needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a stable and well-respected law firm who allows for a hybrid work schedule after a period of training.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling the calendar of activities of attorney, including depositions and client meetings

  • Opening matters; set-up and organization of electronic files

  • Time entry assistance

  • Composing, transcribing and editing of legal correspondence

  • Ensure documents are properly filed with appropriate courts, including submission of paper and electronic filings

  • Gathering of documents for discovery requests

  • Preparation of reports from matter management system

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of law firm experience supporting litigation attorneys

  • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies preferred, not required

  • Experience in court filings

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
