Bilingual PI Litigation Paralegal - Atlanta, GA


$65,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities & Requirements:



  • Prepare discovery documents, legal pleadings and correspondence

  • Review and analyze medical records and other documents as required

  • Evaluate investigation materials and draft responses to written discovery

  • Schedule lay and expert witness meetings and depositions

  • Review and summarize depositions

  • Aide the litigation attorney in deposition and trial preparation

  • Exceptional communication skills, and be comfortable communicating with courts, witnesses, parties, etc.

  • Responsible for handling all aspects of the file from the commencement of litigation including but not limited to drafting initial pleadings, drafting discovery, and answering interrogatories

  • Managing the attorney's litigation calendar

  • Clear and consistent client communication throughout the duration of the case

  • Assist the litigation attorney in all aspects of settlement in the case

  • Proficient in all e-filing platforms (PeachCourt & Odyssey)

  • Schedule and prepare for mediations



Qualifications:



  • Bilingual English & Spanish Required

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred) and/or 3-5 years of experience in plaintiffs personal injury

  • Paralegal certification (preferred)

  • Familiarity with performing research tasks using web-based legal research services

  • Advanced legal writing, drafting and proofing skills
