Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract opening for a Program Manager with an airline client of ours in Atlanta, GA.

Duration: 12-month W2 contract, no PTO or benefits included

Pay: $60 - $65 per hour

Job Description:

It's an exciting time to be part of our client's Sales and Distribution Servicing Solutions team as we work to enhance how we enable servicing for our corporate and agency partners. This position will help drive that vision by working with teams across the enterprise to bring better solutions, particularly through the adoption of NDC (New Distribution Capability) standards, to our customers.

The team is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to play a pivotal role in implementing our future Sales and Distribution vision. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of NDC-related initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and are industry-leading solutions in Order Management and Servicing.

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive):

Utilize market research, customer and agent feedback, analytics data, and industry trends to understand customer needs, discovering competitive and functional gaps and identifying new opportunities to ultimately define the product roadmap

Help identify, diagnose, and address strategies, processes, and behaviors to accelerate prioritization and delivery of strategic efforts

Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicate direction and product priorities to the development team and other supporting teams.

Provide well-defined and testable Epics, Features, and Stories to support the Agile development methodology

Formulate strategic development plans guided by customer feedback and latest technology industry standards, and act with agility to adjust to changing competitive environment

Play an integral role in engagement, communication, change management, feedback loops and overall leadership visibility across the system

Provide regular status reports to key stakeholders, sponsors, project managers, and others involved in the project

Demonstrate data curiosity by recognizing the need for additional information and collecting it with the aim of uncovering problems and opportunities

What you need to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

6-8 years of relevant work experience

Experience in the creation and design, or management of products, projects, or technology systems

Ability to communicate clearly to business leaders and technical developers

Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and understanding of industry and business trends, and openness to capture and share this knowledge with members of the team

Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, multi-task capable, and have a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles

Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority

High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.

What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications):

Prior experience as an Agile Product Manager or Owner role delivering B2B products, with a focus on NDC implementation

Experience articulating a strategic vision with a plan of action to achieve major goals

Knowledge of Agile development principles, product vision and roadmaps, business and technical story writing, and track record of successful launches of MVP products on time and on budget

High-level knowledge of travel related industry segments (airlines, hotels, travel agencies), with an emphasis on NDC

Demonstrates strong analytical and computer skills, sound organizational and planning skills

Demonstrates proven ability to make sound business decisions
