Job description
Title: Program Manager
Location: Hybrid at Atlanta, GA 30363 (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
Duration: 8+ months
TechSpark offers a high-demand, fast-paced environment, requiring effective problem solving and multitasking. The work is community-facing and intersects with internal and external stakeholders.
Typical Day in the Role:
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to work on place-based initiatives driven by Tech Spark managers. These initiatives focus on administrative tasks, ensuring all details are managed, and providing end-to-end project management for events and activations. The team supports three markets across the US: Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta, with the new resource being based in Atlanta
Key projects: This role will contribute to AI-related activities such as webinars, conferences, summits, and series across various markets. Workforce development and skilling initiatives focused on AI.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of lots of different priorities and projects. Will work with different time zones constantly.

Microsoft Philanthropies (MSP) strives to enable global citizens to thrive in a digital, AI-driven era. An initiative of MSP is TechSpark, a place-based initiative in both urban and rural markets that partners with local organizations to support communities in thriving in an inclusive, digital economy through a tech ecosystem by harnessing AI. Each region has a dedicated Community Engagement Manager working closely with stakeholders to design tailored programs. TechSpark focuses on AI evangelism, digital fluency, and equity, leveraging Microsoft's resources to support its regional partners. We are currently seeking a dynamic program manager to spearhead the implementation of transformative projects and initiatives across multiple regions.
Qualities:
Supporting metro regions, the Program Manager candidate would be familiar with and have an interest in corporate social responsibility, corporate philanthropy, digital inclusion, and economic development. This individual should exhibit agility in managing competing priorities, be levelheaded in valuing tasks, and demonstrate resourcefulness in finding information efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Support multiple markets and prioritize workflow and workload
Lead the end-to-end management of events and initiatives
Create presentations, templates, and develop talking points
Manage schedules, calendars, and key activities
Analyze trends and remain apprised of headlines, research, publications, and data impacting digital inclusion and technology
Serve as a liaison on efforts, as needed
Conduct research and complete data analysis
Assist with budget management
Ensure the vision and scope of projects are aligned with MS funding
Conduct site visits
Learn MS products, as needed
Provide project support to Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago's Community Managers, as needed
Attend meetings, local conferences, and other events when requested
