Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages projects.
Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.
Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.
Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.
Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.
Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
Participates in project planning and implementation.
Provides status updates. Notifies team of project delays, concerns, and resolves project related concerns.
Coordinates project work plan and calendar/schedules.
Assists with team goal settings and creating strategic plans for upcoming Fiscal Year.
Tracks team goals and provide updates.
Monitors team progress towards achieving goals, and monitor cost savings initiatives and provide detailed reports.
Assists in developing project related budgets.
Monitors budgets for each project.
Assists with the development of the Shared Surgical Services team budget, and assist with various operational and statistical reports, as needed.
Functions as liaison for projects by coordinating, creating and sending team communications as well as sending updates to executive leadership.
Coordinates logistics for meetings and conferences.
Takes meeting minutes and tracks action items from meetings and ensures a designee is assigned to each action item.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of relevant project support experience.
EDUCATION:
Associates Degree required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
