Pay Rate: $55-$65/Hour on W2

Contract duration : 6 months

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States 30326 ( Hybrid 3 days/week in office and 2 days work from home)

Description:

The Portfolio Marketing team at our client is looking for a vibrant, self-starter to fill the role of project manager. This is a key role for a results-oriented person with the ability to communicate effectively, encourage sound decision-making, and guide the teams he/she works with to successfully deliver on commitments. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in an agency and/or internal department with a primary focus on product marketing programs where high quality results are required.

You must be able to:

- Organize project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations

- Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams

- Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives

- Provide timely status reports; introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks

- Facilitate team discussions and resolve conflict

- Communicate timelines and approval framework for cross team understanding

- Orchestrate the efforts of cross functional teams to execute on strategic product launches and campaigns to ensure all stakeholders are updated

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

- You have five plus years project management experience in the digital space (required).

- You have strong understanding of the process for development of product announcements, press releases, product demo videos, etc.

- You have outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written).

- You have proven experience working with teams across multiple departments (cross-functional groups a plus).

- You have the ability to use affectively, common PM tools (Mavenlink, Basecamp, MS Project, Smartsheet, Keynote, Excel, Word, Google docs, etc.)

An overview of a day for this role :

Coordinate communication between PMMs and Comms team about upcoming product announcements

Schedule and facilitate live reviews of product announcements with stakeholders and follow up with next steps

Keep all documents up to date with latest announcement schedule

Communicate messaging or scheduling changes with any relevant stakeholders

Facilitate retrospectives after big announcements

Must have skills: Project management, organizational skills, communication skills, verbal/presentation/written skills, Google docs

Teachable skills: Understanding of the development process for press releases and product announcements
