Responsibilities/Qualifications
Intrado is looking to hire a Sales Account Executive to join our Government Solutions team selling ECaTS software solutions.
Emergency Call Tracking System (ECaTS) Analytics helps you transform 911 data into actionable insights with near real-time analytics for customized reporting options for Wireless Routing, Forecasting, MIS, Text to 911, i3 Logging, and more. Intrado's Analytics is a high growth area for the company and the 911 industry.
As a Sales Account Executive specializing in new logos, your primary responsibility will be to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, focusing on acquiring new accounts and building lasting relationships with key decision-makers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technology sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking
- Generate new leads and opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business challenges and goals
- Present and demonstrate technology solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of potential clients
- Sales Presenations:
- Create compelling and persuasive presentations to showcase the value proposition of our technology products and services
- Effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions, addressing client pain points and demonstrating ROI
- Negotiating and Closing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to overcome objections and close new business deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new clients
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University with major case work in business administration, marketing or related field required
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience:
- 3+ years increasingly responsible experience in national sales to include extensive cold calling required
- Proven track record in outside sales, with a focus on acquiring new customers selling SaaS solutions in the Public Safety industry
- Strong understanding of technology and software solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets
- Channel partner management experience required
- RFP process experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
- Basic knowledge of Sales preferred
- Strong prospecting, selling, and closing skills
- Up to 50% travel or as needed throughout the territory that includes CA, WA, OR, MN, WI, MT, ND, SD, NJ, OH, PA, NY, IL, VT, ME, RI, NH, CT, MI, DE, WV, KY, MA, TN, IN, and ID

The hiring range for this position is anticipated between $95,000 - 105,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for commissions with a total amount at plan between $95,000 - 105,000. Total package ranges from $190,000 - 210,000 depending on experience.
