Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra Ops Specialist with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Admin, and Splunk Work Model. This role is hybrid, with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation and management of Splunk Enterprise solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Oversee the administration of Splunk environments, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.

- Provide expert-level support for Splunk-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.

- Develop and implement best practices for Splunk administration and operations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk solutions with other IT systems and applications.

- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Splunk configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments of Splunk environments to ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

- Train and mentor junior team members on Splunk best practices and operational procedures.

- Participate in the design and implementation of new infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

- Provide detailed reports and analysis on system performance, usage, and trends to inform decision-making.

- Ensure the scalability and reliability of Splunk solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Splunk technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure operations.

Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
