Title : Sr PP/PM Functional Specialist
Remote Work: Hybrid (3 - 4 days onsite)
Est. Start Date: Long Term contract with possibility to convert

PURPOSE:
The PP/PM functional specialist is responsible for SAP manufacturing and plant maintenance area on a S4 implementation project supporting PP/PM configuration, integration, documentation, training and end-user support activities. The incumbent will be working closely with the business owners to gather requirements, review business processes, perform system configuration, as well as implement and support integrations.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees project activities related to Production Planning and Plant Maintenance functions ensuring quality and on-time delivery
  • Leads design activities for business process re-engineering. Gathers and documents requirements, understands the business needs and provides solutions that aligns with industry best practices
  • Works with manufacturing team on supporting and improving planning and forecast accuracy, inventory turnover and on-time-delivery
  • Works with maintenance team on supporting and improving corrective/preventive maintenance and refurbishing processes
  • Understands and supports all integrations from legacy systems into PP and PP modules
  • Assists with performing integration, unit and user acceptance testing, including preparation of test cases and writing test scripts for PP/PM processes
  • Supports security design and maintenance as required, including oversight of approvals for PP/PM, ensuring they meet organizational standards
  • Investigates, analyzes and resolves support calls from manufacturing and maintenance teams in a timely manner
  • Supports cross functional priorities

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • 10+ years of SAP ECC/S4 experience including manufacturing and plant maintenance functional knowledge and integrations with production equipment monitoring systems and fuel consumptions recording systems
  • Strong hands on experience on configuring and supporting PP and PM modules
  • Integration experience with MM, FI/CO and time management systems
  • Participated in at least 3 SAP Full Cycle implementations
  • Knowledge of BW/ SAC reporting is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and adapt in an ever-changing environment to changing requirements and priorities
  • Customer Service mind set
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in managing customer expectations and building relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
