Job Summary:

This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge. As a Senior Business Analyst within the AI practice, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into AI-driven solutions. Your role is crucial in identifying opportunities to leverage AI technologies, gathering and analyzing requirements, and driving the implementation of AI projects. You will work closely with clients, data scientists, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet both business objectives and technical specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities.
• Gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide the development of AI models and systems.
• Work with AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ensure clear communication of business needs and project requirements.
• Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to determine the value of AI initiatives.
• Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of AI solutions by providing continuous business insights and ensuring project objectives are met.
• Stay informed on industry trends in AI, data analytics, and machine learning to recommend innovative solutions to clients.
• Act as a mentor to junior analysts and assist in building best practices within the AI practice.

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Strong understanding of AI technologies, data science concepts, and machine learning applications.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI projects.
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ethical and Critical Thinking
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the AI, data analytics or technology domain.
• Prior experience in consulting or professional services is a big plus.
