Description:
The Sr Manager of Operations for Community Engagement and Health Equity is responsible for the efficient operation of the departments.

This role involves managing community engagement and health equity processes, ensuring alignment with goals, optimizing campaign and event performance, overseeing and administering technology solutions and tools, onboarding and training staff and managing budgets, inventories and supplies.

As a member of a collaborative health equity and community engagement team, this position will also contribute to various community health improvement initiatives, including projects/events, program startups and ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design and Management:

1. Develop, implement, and optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Engage staff in design and implementation of processes and procedures. Solicit feedback, evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for design changes to improve compliance and outcomes

3. Train staff on departmental procedures Budget and Resource

Management:

1. Responsible for the annual operating and capital budget processes, management reporting and support of related financial systems, and coordination of financial analysis projects among the staff

2. Oversee grant administration and reporting

Event and Campaign Optimization and Tracking:

1. Monitor and analyze the impact of campaigns, events and initiatives.

2. Implement optimization efforts through appropriate use of Salesforce, Blackthorn and/or other tools.

3. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns/events based on data and performance metrics.

4. Work collaboratively with Health Equity data analytics staff for overall departmental evaluation and reporting and to secure needed data for grants administration.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support health equity and community engagement priorities.

2. Establish and implement methods to encourage collaboration between the System and Operating Unit functions

3. Implement community engagement and health equity section of marketing project management system for event planning and marketing/communication integration

4. Establish templates for event planning and execution

5. Monitor and assign incoming requests Training and

Support:

1. Provide training and support to team members on tools, processes, and best practices.

2. Serve as a point of contact for any operational issues or questions related to health equity or community engagement.

3. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Public Health, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

2. Seven years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role.

3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

4. Strong organizational and communication skills

5. Experience in a health care organization

6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and social media platforms.

8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with grant writing and management.
