Design & Technical Solutions (DTS), a division of Volt Information Sciences and Innova Solutions, is looking for a Technical Trainer - Tractor Diagnostics to work with a Fortune 500 equipment manufacturer.
The Technical Trainer will train dealer service technicians with respect to tractor diagnostic procedures. You will instruct multi-day courses using the facilities, equipment, and curriculum provided. Training formats are a combination of virtual (online) instructions, classroom instruction and/or hands-on instruction in a shop environment. You will deliver face-to-face training at dealerships, community colleges, and corporate training centers in the USA and possibly Canada (must travel approximately two weeks per month), as well as virtual (online) instruction from your home office.
This is a full-time contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience as a service technician (agricultural or construction machinery).
  • Technical communication skills.
  • Works well independently.
  • Computer proficiency, including the ability to use webcams and video-conferencing applications.

Preferred (any of the following):
  • Familiarity with diesel-engine exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Prior experience as a technical trainer
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Pay Rate: Between $28.00 to $33.00 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
