Job description

The Brunswick Job Corps Center operated by Adams and Associates, Inc., provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

We are seeking a Work-Based Learning (WBL) Specialist (Job Coach) to provide students with employability training leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. As a WBL Specialist, you will oversee Work-Based Learning program ensuring students are actively participating in on- and off-Center on-the-job training assignments to improve employability skill-set. You will provide students with transportation services to and from job sites, as well as work with site managers to evaluates student competencies and progress. Best of all, you will conducts community outreach to established WBL sites.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree Required.
  • A minimum of one year experience in program management and direction with a substantial experience working with youth.
