Overview: The U.S. Health and Human Services, Program Support Center on behalf of the Federal Occupational Health Service (FOHS) has a requirement to provide national staffing services. The purpose of this opportunity is to provide professional medical staffing, occupational health professionals and ancillary staff in support of various Occupational Health Centers (OHCs) located throughout the United States.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Provides services at the SPS under the supervision/direction of the Operations Manager, Nurse Coordinator or another contractor RN.
  • Enter all services delivered into the FOH MIS.
  • Provides nursing care requiring an understanding of diseases and illnesses sufficient to enhance communications with physicians, registered nurses, clients and client agencies.
  • Follows general instructions in addition to established policies, practices and procedures.
  • Must use judgment to vary sequence of procedures based on client's condition and previous instructions.
  • Guidance is provided for unusual occurrences.

Qualifications:
  • LVN or LPN licensure with CPR/AED certification and one (1) year experience in OH or related experience such as public/community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing or physician office nursing.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • An active Secret Clearance is required.
