Job description

MAKITA Corporation of America, a worldwide leading producer of high-quality power tools, is seeking an Accounting Tech to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all functions involved in processing invoices
  • Prepare weekly checks and wire payments.
  • File and organize all related accounts payable documents.
  • Process hourly payroll weekly.
  • Perform other duties as required in the Accounting and Finance Department

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of recent accounts payable experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
  • Accurate data entry skills.

Preferred:

  • Two-year degree with at least two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of MRP system.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS / payroll program.
  • Self-motivated, team player.
