Position Overview:
As Client's business is growing, are aiming to expand the IT department by hiring an experienced System Administrator that will handle ongoing tasks and projects to enable efficient work of the company Client & remote offices.
This role requires the attention to detail, excellent organization skills and a self-motivated, as a team player.
The ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams will be essential in ensuring positive outcomes.
Will be responsible for an optimal end-user experience and ensure that the environment remains optimal and secure.
Additionally, will monitor, review, and resolve tickets.
As a SysAdmin, will support the On-prem and cloud infrastructure and will also support employees with the computer system issues (hardware and software).
Responsibilities:
Maintains and administers computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Maintain virtual environment on On-prem and on cloud.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends software and hardware products.
Perform on and off boarding sessions for new employees.
Maintain office network and security and solve issues in office infrastructure.
Perform IT and security complex Cloud and On-prem projects.
Review collected network documentation and work with team to review current network and security posture.
At times, lead the efforts to provide support with new network and security deployment on-site or remote.
Create and maintain network documentation (this includes IP scheme, diagrams, and inventory).
Support servers, workstations, laptops, printers, computer peripherals, and mobile devices.
Solve technical and system issues with little to no supervision.
Respond to end-user support technology requests via email and ticketing systems.
Organize multiple tasks and priorities for personal and project time management.
Deploy computers and software to existing and new users.
Continually monitor and suggest improvement in processes and procedures to the direct supervisor.
Manage local / remote backups.
Work on new projects, documentation and share knowledge with the team.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4-5 years' experience in IT administration.
Proven knowledge in Active Directory maintenance and management and Office 365.
Familiarity with various operating system & Platforms such as Microsoft OS and macOS as well as knowledge with Linux OS.
Knowledge in cloud platforms (Azure) - Advantage.
In-depth experience in network troubleshooting, resolution and analyzing and solving network related issues.
Good knowledge with monitoring systems.
Good knowledge and understanding of security applications such as DLP, NAC, Firewalls .
Scripting skills (PowerShell) is a plus.
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people and team members.
Ability to influence and win the confidence of individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to prioritize, communicate and organize multiple complex projects, frequently under deadline pressure.
