Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cartersville, Georgia.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
RATIO: 1:2
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC
REQUIRED CERTS/SKILLS: BLS ACLS NIH; Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV Insulin Protocols, GI surgery, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, IV therapy, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Infection Prevention, Isolation, Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
WEEKENDS: EO
HOLIDAYS:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 23 & Friday November 24
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
New Year's Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
