Position Summary:

The Finished Goods (FG) Manager is in charge of managing the inventory and distribution of finished products. Operating during the day shift, the FG Manager ensures that finished goods meet quality standards and are prepared and shipped according to the daily schedule. This role involves overseeing the finished goods warehouse, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with the logistics team to meet customer demand. The FG Manager is responsible for improving processes, maintaining accurate records, and leading the warehouse team to achieve efficient and timely product delivery. Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight and Execution:
Oversee the process of finished goods inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of products ready for shipment.
Monitor the loading and shipping of finished goods, ensuring that all products are properly packed and dispatched to customer distribution centers in good condition.
Manage the daily outbound schedule, coordinating with carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), MS Excel, and SAP to track outbound shipments, monitor inventory levels, and ensure product accuracy.
Make necessary adjustments to outbound processes to meet shipping deadlines and adapt to changes in order volumes.
Monitor team performance, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources to meet shipping and inventory management targets.
Support all established shipping and distribution goals, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
2. Client Relationship Management and Service Delivery:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their shipping and inventory needs proactively.
Ensure a thorough understanding of all aspects of the finished goods process, as well as client expectations.
Respond promptly to customer requirements, concerns, and issues, resolving any discrepancies or delays in shipment.
Ensure that customer requirements for finished goods are met efficiently and to their satisfaction.
3. Compliance and Documentation Management:
Ensure that all shipping documentation is completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Enforce safety standards and policies in the finished goods area, ensuring compliance with health regulations and OSHA standards.
Maintain a cohesive, positive, and clean work environment in the finished goods warehouse.
Ensure compliance with all established safety programs and company standards.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and motivate the finished goods warehouse team, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
Provide training and coaching to team members on inventory management, shipping processes, and safety procedures.
Assist in the selection and training of new team members, fostering talent development within the team.
Communicate department objectives, performance metrics, and productivity expectations to team members.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of finished goods inventory levels, outbound shipments, and any issues encountered during the shipping process.
Compile and present reports on finished goods inventory, shipping status, and any damages or discrepancies in shipments.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of inventory and shipping data.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to finished goods management and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
5+ years of logistics or warehouse operation experience, with a focus on finished goods management, is required
Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in shipping and inventory management
Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers and internal teams at all levels (C-Level, Managers, Staff)
Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP
Strong team player with the ability to lead and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
Korean Bilingual preferred
Ability to Travel: up to 10 % in U.S.
Required to work on-site
Working Conditions
This position is primarily based in a 24/7 manufacturing facility and may require changing shifts
This role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines or address operational issues
