Position Summary:

The Raw Material (RM) Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory and supply of raw materials necessary for production. Working in a shift-based environment, this role ensures that all raw materials are available in sufficient quantities by coordinating shuttle plans between the factory and external warehouses. The RM Manager plays a crucial role in production planning by creating detailed material input plans, supervising shift operations, and optimizing processes to maintain efficiency. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rotational shift environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight and Execution:
Oversee the process of raw material inventory management, ensuring that stock levels are maintained to meet production demands.
Monitor the movement of raw materials between the factory and external warehouses, ensuring timely and accurate shuttle operations.
Implement and manage processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of raw material handling, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with production schedules.
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), MS Excel and SAP to track inventory transactions, monitor stock levels, and manage material flow.
Adjust material flow and inventory processes to meet the fluctuating demands of production, ensuring minimal downtime.
Supervise and support shift operations, ensuring that all raw material handling is executed efficiently and according to plan.
Support all established inventory and production goals, ensuring alignment with overall production targets.
2. Production Planning and Coordination:
Develop and manage raw material input plans based on production schedules, coordinating with the production planning team.
Communicate raw material requirements and plans to warehouse staff, shuttle drivers, and production teams.
Adjust material input schedules to accommodate changes in production demand, ensuring that all production lines have the necessary materials to operate without interruption.
Ensure that all raw materials are staged and ready for use in production according to the planned schedules.
3. Compliance and Documentation Management:
Ensure all raw material handling and inventory processes comply with safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate documentation of raw material inventory levels, shuttle plans, and any adjustments made to the production schedule.
Enforce safety standards and policies within the material handling and inventory areas, maintaining compliance with health regulations and OSHA standards.
Create and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment for all shifts.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and develop the raw material handling team across all shifts, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy.
Provide training and coaching to team members on inventory management, material handling processes, and safety procedures.
Monitor team performance, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate department objectives, metrics, and performance results to team members and management
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of all raw material transactions, inventory levels, and production inputs.
Compile and present reports on raw material status, inventory levels, and any issues affecting production.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of inventory data.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to raw material management and inventory levels.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
5+ years of logistics or warehouse operation experience, with a focus on inventory management, is required.
Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in material handling and production support.
Ability to build trustworthy relationships with internal teams, including production staff, warehouse personnel, and management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
Strong team player with the ability to lead and develop staff in a shift-based environment.
Korean Bilingual preferred
Ability to Travel: up to 10 % in U.S.

Working Conditions
This position is primarily based in a 24/7 manufacturing facility and may require changing shifts
This role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines or address operational issues
