Salary Range: Competitive base commission

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to expand their reach within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industries.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Business Development Manager who thrives in the AEC environment and can bring experience from either a general contractor or subcontractor background. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual with 3 years of experience who can leverage existing networks, build new relationships, and identify opportunities to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and potential clients
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, project management, marketing) to prepare proposals and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system

Qualifications:


  • 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the AEC industry (commercial general contractor or subcontractor experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and the bidding cycle
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
