Job description

Responsible for full software life cycle development meeting scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements for software product line/products. Provide direction to on-shore and off-shore development teams to develop new features, debug defects and write unit level test frameworks and test cases. Utilize project management skills including planning, tracking to that plan, and communicating status to both internal and external customers. Responsible for software project planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, launching and maintenance. Review customer requirements in automotive head units, reviews feasibility, and resolve specification open issues with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Coordinate with internal domain teams to provide planning guidance, approving execution plans and managing deliveries. Coordinate with suppliers to analyze requirements and develops interfaces to other modules. Lead and/or participate in meetings with suppliers/customer for design reviews and to track project status. Evaluate new software releases from suppliers to ensure they meet acceptance criteria. Communicate project status through reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information to team and management. Responsible for releasing software to both OEM customer and Factory. Responsible for managing SW integration test domain for work planning, execution and status reporting.
The experience and education requirements are:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related degree discipline followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the specialty field.
