Position Overview:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
The Novelis Atlanta HQ is seeking a BI Data Analyst Co-op. The person in this role will report to the Global Manager Performance & Diagnostics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in gathering and analyzing data from various sources and collaborate with team members to design and develop BI dashboards. This position will increase efficiency and enhance a data-driven decision-making process in the Global Operations Excellence team and in the plants.

Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and analyzing data from various sources.

Collaborate with team members to design and develop BI dashboards.

Integrate data from multiple sources into BI tools.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across different datasets.

Work with BI tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Access) to build and maintain dashboards and databases.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

Suggest improvements and optimizations for existing dashboards and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Basic understanding of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) or data visualization concepts.

Ability to interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Must be available from May 2025 until December 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

Completed degree/coursework in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, or similar subjects.

Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Access).

Knowledge of data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.

Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
