Job description

Job Description BAE Systems in St Marys, GA is seeking a full-time, Functional Support Specialist II to provide Facility Maintenance support to our customer, at Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT), Kings Bay, GA. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage Facilities Service Desk for our SWFLANT Customer
Receive trouble calls from facility tenants describing facility discrepancies
Initiate and submit Service Orders for Base Operating Services Contractor response and repair
Generate and deliver various work order status reports as required by the customer
Data entry into various Microsoft Access Databases
Maintain Quality Management System record and document control utilizing ISO 9001 standards. Gathering and analyzing facilities related data
Routinely interface with the customer
Routinely interface with various facility tenants
Developing and cultivating a positive working relationship with the customer
Gathering, interpreting and executing customer requirements
Utilizing various applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create charts, reports, etc., required by the customer. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Typical education and years of related/relevant work experience required:
High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of related/relevant work experience OR an Associate's Degree and at least 2 years of related/relevant work experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of related/relevant work experience. Additional skills/experience required:
In depth understanding of electrical, mechanical, and equipment maintenance principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Knowledge of SWFLANT Facilities and mission.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to create or modify shared databases, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Experience in IBM Maximo Application Suite. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52470 - $89190 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
