Job description
Overview:
Scope of Position: Supports the WinShape purpose and mission of glorifying God by creating experiences that transform. Develops, leads and oversees the strategic road map for Foundation-wide human resources strategies. Oversees the creation and implementation of Human Resource policies, programs, practices and procedures (i.e., recruitment, selection, onboarding, compensation, organizational design, performance management, recognition, engagement, employee relations, HRIS, benefits, diversity and belonging culture). Provides strategic direction and leadership for WinShape Learning and Development (i.e., learning management system, Emerging Leaders, and Foundation-wide development). Must be servant focused and a change agent while designing and delivering programs that positively influence the organizational culture and the professional development of the team members.

Responsibilities:
Designs and executes sustaining strategies to enhance the organization's delivery of HR related services which align with the Foundation's strategic focus areas and core values
Casts vision and creates strategy for Learning and Development policies, programs and systems
Builds a strategy and a plan that supports innovation, risk tolerance and agility as key attributes of our organizational culture
Mentors, coaches, leads the Talent Services team of approximately 10 members (Assistant Director level and below) and Learning and Development team of approximately 4 members (Director and below)
Oversees innovative people-related programs that promote employee engagement leading to a culture of staff care and empowerment
Oversees policy execution to ensure that our culture supports an emotionally and physically safe environment for our staff and guests
Oversees a career management strategy which includes the Foundation's compensation philosophy and strategy, a market-based compensation structure, team member career ladders, accurate job documentation and consistent titling architecture
Develops organizational strategies to address both immediate needs and the future demands based on the foundation's long range strategic plan
Supports the President and partners with the executive and senior leadership team to formulate and deliver people related strategies Foundation-wide
Ensures that HR services remain viable to the Foundation by conducting ongoing research and providing training and development, which leads to, relevant policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines
Oversees recognition, engagement, diversity strategies that directly influence and impact WinShape's culture
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements by studying existing and new legislation, educating and advising the leadership on all required actions
Develops departmental benchmarking by establishing and measuring key performance indicators. The areas should include but not limited to talent acquisition, staffing, performance management, learning and development, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and recognition and engagement, succession planning, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance, diversity and employee relations
Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with other supporting departments, within and external to WinShape
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
Requires 10-15 plus years of leadership and practical
experience in Human Resources and/or Learning and Development
HR certification or Master's degree preferred
A self-professing Christ follower, actively pursuing his/her faith on a consistent basis
Displays exceptional professionalism at all levels with the ability to develop solutions based on anticipated needs, and demonstrates the initiative to be proactive
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a strong team player under time pressures without loss of poise, grace and humor
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills in order to influence individuals at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations, while making rational decision vital to the foundation's daily operations and future progress
Proven experience in recruiting, organizational development, training, employee relations, and compensation
An in-depth knowledge of financial management and a general knowledge employment law compliance
