Job description

Key Responsibilities: Operate various machinery, including CNC milling machines and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machines). Work on large-scale parts, with loads ranging between 110-220 tons. Interpret and modify g-code and m-code for machining operations. Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings. Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize overhead cranes for lifting parts up to 30,000 lbs. Follow safety guidelines, including the use of steel-toed boots. Qualifications: 3-5 years of machining experience, preferably in heavy industry or aerospace. Familiarity with the metric system for measurement. Experience in heavy industrial settings and handling large parts. Strong problem-solving skills. Prior experience with overhead cranes is highly beneficial. Ability to read and edit g-code is a plus. Open to working overtime and potentially all shifts. Additional Notes: The role requires training on the 1st shift for the first 3 months. Two-step interview process: initial phone interview followed by an in-person/practical interview. Local candidates preferred; no relocation assistance provided.
