Operations Trainee

Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $19.29 per hour

Position Overview

Are you passionate about aviation and eager to grow your skills in a dynamic team environment? As an Operations Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience and learn key manufacturing processes involved in aircraft production. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who want to take the first step in their career.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Entry-level position.

• Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program is a plus!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of parts and basic riveting/drilling using pneumatic tools.

• Ensure work meets quality standards as directed by your team.

• Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and spec sheets.

• Assist in assembling parts with holding fixtures, clamps, and fasteners.

• Observe and assist senior team members while growing in the role.

What You Bring

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.

• Able to perform shop math, follow instructions, and maintain safety practices.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Must be able to work any shift as required.

Pay Details: $19.29 per hour
