Overview:
Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a meticulous and proactive Purchasing Supervisor to oversee the Resort's purchasing and receiving. Our ideal candidate will ensure the timely acquisition of goods while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards

Responsibilities:
Coordinate with department heads to understand procurement needs and priorities.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Collaborate with finance and management teams to establish and monitor procurement budgets.

Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or operational efficiency.

Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet production and operational demands.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and maintain proper documentation.

Continuously evaluate and optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management preferred.

Basic understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
